Justine M. Marshall

Justine M. Marshall, 89, of Beloit, died Monday May 25, 2009 at the Beloit Health & Rehabilitation Center in Beloit, Wisconsin.  Justine was born February 16, 1920 in Beloit, WI the daughter of Elmer and Elsie (Bartz) Gerloff.  She married Ray “Bud” Marshall July 23, 1948 in Beloit.  He preceded her in death on August 12, 1994.  Justine was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and worked as an O. R. Technician at the “old” Beloit Hospital for seventeen years.

Justine is survived by her two sisters, Eleanor Morse of Rockton, IL and Geri Wells-Kennedy of Beloit, a brother in law, Elgee (Gloria) Marshall and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud and her parents and two brothers in law, Ron “Lucky” Wells and Kelly Morse.

Justine’s Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday 28, 2009, in the SCHOENFELD-MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit with Rev. Edward H. May and Rev. George Raap co-officiating.  Friends will be received Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  The cortege will process to East Lawn Cemetery for interment following Justine’s service.  All are invited back to the Funeral Home for a catered lunch to be served in the new Community Room. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and Beloit regional Hospice.

The family would like to thank the staff at Beloit Health & Rehabilitation Center for the care they gave Justine.
